The Mechanism of Antikythera (originally called Table or Tablet, ΠΙΝΑΞ, ΠΙΝΑΚΙΔΙΟΝ) is a dedicated astronomical analogue computer that uses bronze gear wheels to perform specific mathematical calculations to accurately simulate the natural phenomena of celestial bodies, and depict their location in the sky at any given time.
